This Privacy Policy describes how Silver Spoon Integrative Health Center Inc, doing business as Wayfinder's Well ("Wayfinder's Well," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our website wayfinderswell.com (the "Site") and the courses, membership, newsletter, free guides, and members' community we offer through it (together with the Site, the "Services").
Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically collects certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and the pages you view, along with the website or search terms that referred you to the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as "Device Information."
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- "Cookies" are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- "Log files" track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps.
- "Google Analytics" is a service from Google that uses cookies and a small script to tell us which pages people visit, which links and buttons they click, how long they stay, and roughly where visitors come from: the site or app that referred them, and their city or region. We have turned Google's advertising features off, so Google Analytics does not build an advertising profile from your visit or share it with Google's advertising products. Google's privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on every website with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- The Site does not use web beacons or advertising pixels.
We use Device Information to keep the Site secure and reliable, to understand which pages are useful, and to improve the Site. You can set your browser not to accept cookies, and the website above tells you how to remove cookies from your browser. Some features of the Site may not function if you disable cookies. We do not alter our data collection practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
We also collect information you provide to us directly. We refer to this as "Provided Information." We collect Provided Information when you download a free guide or subscribe to the newsletter; create an account, enroll in a course, or join the membership through Podia (including free courses and modules); join the members' community on Discord; make a donation; send us a message, reply to an email, or submit a question for a live session; or complete a survey or give us feedback.
The Provided Information we collect may include personal identification information (your name, email address, and Discord username), billing information (your billing address and payment details), and anything you choose to include in a message, question, or community post. Payment details are collected and processed by Podia and its payment processors, or by Givebutter when you make a donation. We do not see or store your full card number.
When we talk about "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about both Device Information and Provided Information.
How we use your Personal Information
We use Provided Information to deliver what you asked for: to send you the free guide you downloaded, to give you access to the courses and membership you enrolled in, to send order confirmations and receipts, and to admit you to the members' community. We also use it to:
- Communicate with you, including answering your questions and sending course and membership updates.
- Send the newsletter and other email you have opted in to, in line with the preferences you have shared with us.
- Screen orders for potential risk or fraud, which is handled by Podia and its payment processors.
- Moderate the members' community and keep it a safe place to learn.
We use Device Information to help keep the Site secure, to screen for potential risk and fraud, and more generally to improve the Site, for example by understanding which pages and guides people find useful.
How we store your data
Your account, enrollment, and purchase records are stored with Podia. Newsletter subscriptions are stored with Kit. Community activity is stored with Discord. Messages you send us are stored in our email system.
We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information. No computer network or data transmission on the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you submit your information at your own risk.
We keep your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it.
Health information
Wayfinder's Well is an educational platform. It is not a healthcare provider, using the Services does not create a clinician-patient relationship, and nothing you share with us through the Site or the members' community is treated as a medical record.
Please do not send us sensitive health details by email or post them in the community. Questions submitted for a live session are read aloud with identifying details removed, and the community norms ask everyone to keep the space to peer learning rather than individual medical advice. If you share health information anyway, you do so voluntarily and it is handled as described in this policy.
Email marketing
If you download a free guide, enroll in a course, join the membership, or otherwise opt in to receive emails, you agree to receive email from us, including newsletters, course and membership updates, announcements, and other correspondence. We are not responsible for email that does not reach you. You are responsible for making sure our email addresses are not blocked or sent to your spam folder.
You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, you understand that you may no longer receive information or updates from us, including announcements about new courses and offers. Emails that are part of a course or membership you are enrolled in, such as access details and receipts, may continue while you are enrolled.
Advertising
We do not currently run targeted advertising or use advertising pixels on the Site. Google Analytics runs with its advertising features turned off, so it is not used to build advertising audiences. If we start using advertising services in the future, we will update this policy to describe them and how to opt out.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. Under certain conditions, you may also have the right to restrict or object to our processing of your data, and to request that we transfer your Personal Information to another organization. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the contact information below.
If you are a European resident, we note that we are processing your information to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example, if you enroll in a course through the Site) or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States.
Wherever you live, you can ask us what Personal Information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do our best to help.
Third-party websites
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Site and the Services. We are not responsible for the data collection, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party site that we link to or that links to us. We encourage you to read the privacy statement and terms of use of other sites, including Podia, Discord, Fullscript, and Amazon.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
Complaints
Please contact us if you have any complaints about how we use your Personal Information so we can resolve the issue whenever possible. Residents of the European Union also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection regulator.
