Wayfinder’s Well is an educational platform. Some posts include affiliate links to books and consumer products related to the topic at hand. Here’s what that means, plainly.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a regular link that includes a tracking tag. If you click one and buy the product, the retailer pays Wayfinder’s Well a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same. You are never charged extra for using an affiliate link.
Wayfinder’s Well participates in the Amazon Associates program. When a blog post recommends a product available on Amazon, the link in that post is typically an affiliate link.
What we recommend, and why
Products featured in a post are chosen because they connect to what the post is teaching. A post about indoor air quality might link to an air purifier. A post about a low-histamine kitchen might link to a cookbook or to glass storage containers.
We aim to feature products that we believe support the educational topic. We do not accept payment from manufacturers for placement, and a product’s presence in a post does not imply that the manufacturer endorses Wayfinder’s Well or Dr. Joyce Knieff.
