Motility Masterclass Part 2
in motion

If you've done the foundational work on motility and SIBO still keeps coming back, Part 2 of the Intestinal Motility Masterclass is the layer that goes after the active interventions. Prokinetics, targeted supplements, herbal protocols, and the sequencing that makes them actually hold.

Part 1 covered why recurrent SIBO is a motility problem and the daily practices that support the cleaning cycle. Part 2 picks up where that ends.

When the foundation isn't enough

Meal spacing, vagal work, sleep, and stress regulation are necessary, but for some patients they aren't sufficient. The migrating motor complex is still too sluggish, the recurrent bloating is still there after every cycle of antimicrobials, and the question becomes which active intervention to layer on, in what order, and for how long.

Part 2 walks through the answer. It covers the prokinetic herbs and supplements that have the strongest case behind them, when prescription prokinetics belong in the conversation with your provider, and how to sequence the interventions so they actually compound rather than cancel each other out.

What you'll walk away with

By the end of Part 2, you will be able to:

  • Identify which prokinetic herbs and supplements have the strongest case for your specific recurrence pattern.
  • Know when prescription prokinetics belong in the conversation with your provider, and what to ask about.
  • Sequence interventions so they compound rather than work against each other.
  • Recognize when a relapse is asking for more time on the foundation versus a new intervention layer.
  • Build a relapse-prevention plan that fits your situation, not a generic protocol.

Who's teaching

I'm Dr. Joyce Knieff, a naturopathic physician in Minnesota. My clinical focus is MCAS, motility disorders, hormones, and the places they overlap.

Part 2 is built from the patterns I see every week in clinic. The people who get stable on motility care aren't the ones who try the most interventions. They're the ones who layer the right interventions in the right order. That's what this course is for.

More about Dr. Joyce

I am absolutely mind blown. You are the only person I have ever seen who has explained this and made complete sense.

Thanks for making this video. This is a wealth of information!

@justexistforwhat

I'm so glad to listen to you. I started working with a Naturopathic Dr. and after testing my gut biome, this is the same track she has me on.

Questions people ask

  • Do I need Part 1 first?

Strongly recommended. Part 1 covers the foundation: why recurrent SIBO is a motility problem, the systems that control motility, and the lifestyle levers that support the cleaning cycle. Part 2 assumes you understand that foundation and goes straight into the active intervention layer. If you skip Part 1, you'll have the tools but not the framework that tells you when to use them.

  • Is this Part 2 only, or does it include Part 1?

Part 2 is standalone, focused on Modules 4 to 7. If you want both, the Wayfarer membership ($37/mo) includes Parts 1 and 2 plus the full library. If you only want this course, it is $97 standalone.

  • Is this medical advice?

No. The course is educational. It gives you a framework and the language to talk with your provider. Specific prokinetic doses, prescription decisions, and the timing of starting or stopping interventions stay with your provider.

  • How long does it take to complete?

About 3 to 4 hours of video and reading across the four modules. Most people finish in one to two weeks if they're motivated, or stretch it across a month at one module per week.

  • Is this included in the Wayfarer membership?

Yes. The Wayfarer membership ($37/mo) includes Motility Masterclass Part 2 plus everything else in the library. If you only want this course, it is $97 as a standalone.

The interventions that finally hold.

Recurrent SIBO doesn't have a single fix. It has a sequence. Part 2 is the sequence.
