MCAS Stabilization & Sequencing Framework
in sequence

A 12-week live program that teaches you how to decide what to do with MCAS, not just what to take. You leave with a personalized Stabilization Blueprint, the Stabilization and Expansion Loops you can use for the rest of your life, and the decision-making confidence that trial-and-error never gave you.

Taught live by Dr. Joyce Knieff, ND. Three tiers from $497 to $1,200. Tier 3 (with private 1:1 time) is capped at three seats per cohort and fills first.

What is the Stabilization and Sequencing Framework?

The Stabilization and Sequencing Framework is a clinical decision model for managing Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) as a sequenced recovery, not a protocol. Developed by Dr. Joyce Knieff, ND, it teaches two decision loops (Stabilization for flares, Expansion for stability) and a four-phase order (Stabilize, Repair, Detoxify, Regulate) so patients can make informed decisions with their care team instead of cycling through trial-and-error.

Why MCAS stays stuck

Most of the people who enroll have been somewhere between twelve and thirty-six months into MCAS. They've read the books. They've tried elimination diets. They've stacked supplements. They've spent money on specialists who didn't screen for it and clinicians who screened for it and had nothing to offer.

What they're missing is rarely the information. What they're missing is the order, the pacing, and the decision framework for when to escalate and when to hold steady. Flares happen because people try to do everything at once. Plateaus happen because people treat the nervous system last instead of first. This program addresses both.

What you'll walk away with

By the end of 12 weeks, you will be able to:

  • Use the Stabilization Loop when you're in a flare: severity check, pattern expression, destabilization category, response decision, reassess.
  • Use the Expansion Loop when you're stable: stability check, choose one variable, dose and pace, monitor response.
  • Sequence interventions in the right order: stabilize, repair, detoxify, regulate.
  • Leave with a Stabilization Blueprint personalized to you, not copied from someone else's protocol.
  • Know which phase you're actually in and what it calls for, so you stop spending money on the wrong thing at the wrong time.
  • Have shared language for talking with your care team so the conversation moves forward instead of in circles.

What you'll learn, week by week

Four phases across 12 weeks. Eight core teaching sessions plus a synthesis session. Sessions are live on Thursdays, recorded, and stored in the member library after the cohort wraps.

  1. 01

Phase 1: Stabilize and Calm (Weeks 1 to 3)

Pharmacological stabilization: MCAS phenotyping, H1 and H2 blockers, cromolyn, mast cell stabilizers, biologics like Xolair and Dupixent. Nervous system regulation: six stress types and their matched practices, polyvagal framing, trauma-informed scaffolding.

  2. 02

Phase 2: Gut Healing and Immune Tolerance (Weeks 4 to 6)

Gut assessment and clearing: testing, SIBO and infectious drivers, motility, mucosal healing. Microbiome and immune remodulation: SCFAs, probiotics covered in depth, food tolerance rebuilding.

  3. 03

Phase 3: Liver Detoxification (Weeks 7 to 9)

Detox pathway setup: Phase 2 and 3 detox, methylation, COMT, cofactors like methionine, B vitamins, iron, taurine, glycine. Detox execution and safety: glucuronidation, sulfation, glutathione, Phase 1 inductors, binders, how to handle Herxheimer reactions without losing ground.

  4. 04

Phase 4: Hormonal Regulation and Synthesis (Weeks 10 to 12)

Hormonal regulation: sex hormones, estrogen and histamine cycling, thyroid, adrenal. Chronic infections and viral impacts: persistent drivers of MCAS, mold revisited. Synthesis session: your personalized phased timeline, working with providers, wrap-up.

Is this for you?

This is built for you if:

  • You've been diagnosed with MCAS in the last twelve to thirty-six months, or you strongly suspect it.
  • You're medically stable enough to implement educational material (not in active crisis).
  • You've tried protocols and supplement stacks without a clear sense of whether anything is helping.
  • You want decision-making capacity, not a cookbook to copy.
  • You're open to blending pharmacologic and naturopathic interventions, depending on what the situation calls for.

This is not for you if:

  • You're in acute crisis and need a clinician to stabilize you right now. That is clinical work, not educational.
  • You're looking for a rigid protocol to copy step by step. This teaches a framework, not a prescription.
  • You want someone to interpret your labs or adjust your medications. I am not your treating physician in this program.
  • You only want the natural medicine angle and reject conventional options. The framework uses both.

Who's teaching

Dr. Joyce Knieff · ND, LAc, RH (AHG) · Vice President, Minnesota Association of Naturopathic Physicians

I practice at Yggdrasil Naturopathic Medicine in Minnetonka, Minnesota. MCAS is one of my clinical subspecialties, and I see these patients every week.

The Stabilization and Sequencing Framework at the core of this program is the clinical model I use with my own patients. I'm teaching it live because MCAS is a condition where sequencing matters more than intensity, and sequencing is hard to learn from a static course. Being able to ask the question when you hit a wall, in the moment, changes the outcome.

More about Dr. Joyce

I am absolutely mind blown. You are the only person I have ever seen who has explained this and made complete sense.

@marierie451

She actually explains the WHY, not just the what.

I'm so glad to listen to you. I started working with a Naturopathic Dr. and after testing my gut biome, this is the same track she has me on.

Questions people ask

  • How is this different from free content I can find on TikTok or YouTube?

Free content gives you pieces. The course gives you the completed picture: structured, sequential, and in the right order. You can't build cumulative knowledge from algorithm-served 60-second clips. The sequencing is the point.

  • Is this medical advice? Will this replace my doctor?

No. This is education. It teaches you a decision framework so you can work more effectively with your doctor, not replace them. I'm not serving as your treating physician in this program. You'll leave with clearer questions to bring to your care team.

  • I'm not sure I have MCAS. Is this for me?

Phase 1 covers exactly this: MCAS phenotyping, diagnostic criteria, targeted markers. You'll finish the first three weeks knowing what to discuss with your provider about whether MCAS is the right frame for what you're living with.

  • What's the difference between the three tiers?

Tier 1 ($497) includes the eight live teaching sessions over 12 weeks, recordings, worksheets, and the group chat during the cohort. Tier 2 ($997) adds three group Q&A coaching calls with me at weeks 1, 6 or 7, and 12. Tier 3 ($1,200) adds two private 30-minute 1:1 calls with me, one at the start and one at the end. Tier 3 is limited to three people per cohort.

  • Why is Tier 3 limited to three seats?

Because I'm still seeing patients in clinic. Three 1:1 slots per cohort is what I can actually hold without letting the standard of care slip. Tier 3 consistently sells first, so if that's the tier you want, plan accordingly when the cart opens.

  • What if I miss a live session?

Every session is recorded and added to the member library within 24 hours. You can watch or rewatch on your own schedule. The group chat captures the real-time questions, so you can scroll back for the conversation around each topic.

  • Are there costs beyond the course itself?

The course teaches the framework. Any labs, supplements, or medications are separate and handled through your provider. The curriculum is explicit about when a given step needs clinical input and when it doesn't, so you can plan the medical side with your team.

  • What if it's stuff I already know?

The Stabilization and Sequencing Framework is original clinical IP. The Stabilization Loop, the Expansion Loop, the organ system sequencing logic, and the personalized Blueprint process are not available anywhere else. If you've been in this for a while and are still stuck, the issue usually isn't that you don't know enough. It's that the knowledge you have isn't organized. That is what this course organizes.

  • What if I'm too sick to keep up?

Sessions are live but recorded. You can attend what you can attend, watch the rest asynchronously, and move through the material at whatever pace your body allows. The framework is designed for people who are reactive and overwhelmed, which is most people when they start. Phase 1 is specifically about getting the reactivity down first.
